Hi, I’m Britt​

 

I believe birth is one of the most sacred and powerful experiences we’ll ever walk through. God designed it with intention, beauty, and purpose and every family deserves to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for during this season.

I serve families as a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and birth and lifestyle photographer. My role is to help you prepare for what’s ahead and to hold a space of confidence, love, and comfort throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

​

My journey into this work began as a birth photographer, where I witnessed a wide range of birth experiences for both moms and dads. Watching those moments stirred reflection on my own story. I became a mother at 19 as a single mom, with little understanding of what to expect during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum. When we came home, I did my best to figure it out as I went.

​

Five years later, when my son was born, I thought I knew what to expect but postpartum depression entered the picture. At the time, I didn’t recognize my anxiety and anger for what they were. It wasn’t until years later that I understood what I had been walking through. Those experiences shaped my heart for this work and my desire to support families with both knowledge and compassion.

​

My favorite part of being a doula is witnessing parents walk through one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives together. Watching a mother and father support one another, then seeing the moment they meet their baby; the awe, the love, the quiet strength, it’s a glimpse of what love and partnership truly look like. Those moments never get old.

​
